I have been hacked-please don't delete

I have received a couple of PM's this morning from members here asking me have I been hacked - YES

If any of you guys get a e-mail from me asking for your help PLEASE disregard the plea for a gift card, something about my niece's birthday or that I'm in the hospital and need your help It is a scam.

I have been getting calls since early this morning asking me what they can do to help me, NOTHING, be safe and don't reply to the e-mail. HRP

Man, as soon as I got the email this morning, saying that you needed
money real bad, I went down to the bank and drew out my last $200
and Sent it right away.


Now, seeing that you Don't really need it, could you please put a couple
of Franklins in an envelope and mail back to me quickly. Then I'll be able
to get the kids the shoes they need, and a couple cans of beans for me.

DD, the 4 pairs of shoes came Priority Mail this morning, but I got 8 kids
so they are going to switch off wearing 'em every other day.

They said they appreciate the shoes tho, Not enough to say thanks

Dealing with all the issues associated with getting hacked is a real PITA but look at it this way, if you really had been in some sort of a bind and needed assistance the HAMB and Barn would have been there for you. Hope you get everything sorted and you can put all this crap behind you and get back to your normal routine and posts.

i think the cops and government can track just about anything these days, but it seems they dont bother to try and stop it.

Before I retired I received telephonic and emailed threats after my investigators made a gambling arrest. The IT people said they traced the origination through several severs until the came to a server outside the US and the washed their hands of it. Funny it it had been directed against someone important's wife instead of mine I'm sure the the out of country server wouldn't have been an issue.
