I'm helping a friend with his 28 Model A. When I went to move that large wire casing that goes into the disturber the backlight cap on the firewall fell apart. Where can I find another one? I called Synders and they only have it available if you buy the complete wiring kit. I don't need a whole kit just that cap. Is there anyone that carried just the cap? Thank you.

I'm not sure what part is broken. Can you post a photo? Maybe post on the Model A forum for more views.

I think that he means the Terminal Box Lid. I guess his word backlight should be bakelite. Part A-14561 in my old Snyders catalog.

Barnstuf, Thank you. That's the part i need. I guess my auto spell check doesn't like the work bakelight. I called Synders and used the order number you gave me and got it coming. Thank you again for your help,. I normally work on Model T's so this is my first A. My friend is an older gentleman and hasn't run the car in a few years and the engine is froze up from sitting so I'm trying to get it free again and running. I thought this was the Model A forum also, Is there another place I should look?
