Smile Waterproof cardboard tack strip in a Tudor

Anyone have any idea how to replace the waterproof tack strips that attach the rear panels interior of the Tudor sedan. The U-tube video headliner instruction tells you to replace them but gives no idea of how or what material to use. Any ideas would be most appreciated.

Hi Rick,
Mac's Auto Parts carries the thin wooden strips and rivets that are required for the job.
The curved brackets are removed from their location, the wood tack strip is removed and replaced with the new ones. The old ones slide out of the slot after the rivets are removed. Note that the ends of the slot are crimped. It is relatively easy.
Mac's P/N 28-56610-1 (Price: $21.25 for the kit for right and left).
I recently replaced the roof on my 30 Tudor and these are not included in the wood kit.
Good luck

Snyders carriers them also and may be the supplier. I know the guy that makes the kits for Snyders.
