We made it through without any major damage. Lost power for 32 hours. That's good considering the crews are not allowed to use bucket trucks until the winds are below 35mph.

Well, I'm over here right about where I-4 crosses the St. John's River in DeBary.
It took me about 3 hours to dig out so I could get out of my driveway. I had a good sized oak come down that covered both sides of the circular drive so I was stuck. No power yet. One of my neighbor's oak trees came down as well and took the lines down with it. Unfortunately, these lines only service 6 homes so I think it will be a while before it gets fixed. Looks like the St. John's River is going to flood somewhat. It rose about 3-4 feet since last Friday and is now just about over the seawall. No big deal except for the jerks in boats that don't know to idle through a flood zone.

My office also had moderate flooding.

This is what my entire yard looks like. There is actually a driveway under all of that mess.
You can see that oak at the other end of the driveway. Second pic is the hole I cut so I could get out. I ain't looking forward to cleaning up this mess but everyone is safe and sound so I'm happy.

I'm sorry to hear that some of our friends in Florida have suffered property damage, but really happy to hear there were no personal injuries.

Glad to hear the Florida barners are ok, I don't envy anyone having to clean up that mess.

We just received a message from Ecklers (Mac's Antique Auto).

1. Their warehouse is OK.
2. Their area was one of the harder hit, many employees are without power or have significant damage to their homes but everyone is ok.
3. Their office is trashed, they are relocating their call center and other staff functions to the warehouse.

Best wishes to all

Thanks to all for your concern for all Barner's in the wake of the storm. We lost power Sunday night at 11PM and just got it back an hour ago. Still have no water as a tree fell and took out part of the well... Vic

One toilet that works ... A flush beats a full house generator.
