Where do you CURRENTLY acquire a flow through electric fuel pump?
So? Where DO you currently acquire a quality six volt flow through pump?
Please, current experience only. Like a lot of you, I'd purchased pumps years ago and blah, blah, blah. History is no longer very significant when considering how things are manufactured now (typically like poopy)... Thanks men.

Airtex, through Amazon, but they are 4lb pressure. Contrary to popular belief, Airtex doesn't make a 2 pound pump.

Assuming you want 6 volts. Here is one on Amazon.
Available from other vendors as well. My '39 p/u is 12 volts but I run a 12 volt Airtex just to prime the system after it sets for a while. Bought it at the local parts store but its a real parts store not a big box no nothing one. https://www.amazon.com/Airtex-E8902-...24355167&psc=1

Carquest auto has holley, what I run on the roadster. I also use a pressure valve set to 2 lbs. Currently 21 stud but have used it on the 59 AB. No problems here.

Re: Where do you CURRENTLY acquire a flow through electric fuel pump?
NAPA has a good 6 volt pump for about 85.00, however you will need a regulator!
I was very happy with the one I just bought a couple of weeks ago. God bless Bill https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...closed.614419/

If you are just looking for a priming pump or something to push through a vapor lock the psi will not be a concern.

Re: Where do you CURRENTLY acquire a flow through electric fuel pump?
Since most installations are very visible, would there be a point reduction if it is judged?

Re: Where do you CURRENTLY acquire a flow through electric fuel pump?
Did the car come from the factory with an electric pump?

I believe Mike was trying to answer your question with subtle kindness, and maybe with a little humor mixed-in. I think it boils-down to the fact that Mikey's "new" book, which is pretty comprehensive, mentions nothing about an electric pump from the factory that I saw....."The Book" covering most of the criteria used when judging these old used cars. The car is supposed to judged as to the way it left the factory. If there was not an electric pump on the car when it left the factory, then there is a point deduction.
