Default Why would you work this hard?

All the "look what I found on CL" posts go me to go out and look around and I found this.

Why would you work so hard to alter the cowl and fenders.

Yuck!

(Sorry if this is anyone here, but that's gross)

I would have just drilled 4 holes & moved the seat back , if I was really tall & needed more leg room !

Now that's what I'd call a real ugly duckling, and that may be exactly why this person wants to unload it.

When you die, you don't know you're dead.
All of the pain is felt by others.
Same thing happens when you're stupid.

Sadly it is a very well done job, why I have no idea. I meet people like this often, they just do not understand you never screw with Ford's design unless you are improving which is not that easy of a task to do. To bad.

All too often, you see change just for the sake of change. That thing deserves no more of my time.

Saw a 1935 that had a Ford 302 installed in it. Owner lengthened the cowl to get the extra room he needed in the engine compartment. Did not look as bad as the '36 though.

Typical street rod, tasteless and nauseating. How was this butchery ever considered cool?

From the look of his trade options, I think the guy really wanted a Chevy and tried to make his Ford into one. Give the guy some credit for having a vision and carrying it out in a very well crafted fashion. Taste is subjective, it has nothing to do with being stupid. Get over yourselves.

Before you criticize someone eases work, consider ow others may criticize yours.. As an individual in a free country (At least for awhile) we can do what we think is right. I believe that ALL cars should have a safety check before being allowed to drive in today's traffic. No car built 50 years ago will pass in stock form.
