Hey guys, how do you operate the vacuum wiper control switch on a 46? Mine just rotates endlessly without turning on the wipers. Do I pull it out and turn it? Are new ones available?

Any help would be appreciated.

A rod connects the knob to the wiper motor, and the wiper is activated by turning the knob counter-clockwise. Sounds like that rod has become disconnected, or is missing.
