water pump failure
We rolled toward home in a 4 ship from the military days at Oatlands historic home and Gardens. Just before the 15/50 turn about there was a “ Thuuummp/swoosh/spatter/spatter/tinkle/swoosh/squeal”!!!
Right away I thunk it was my clock overspeeding... I swooped on the cindered area by the BBQ stand, just as they were wrapping up... well no dinner there. Leo Cummings stopped with me. I shut the engine down and inspected everything. Some water around a water pump. Pressure in the radiator. water in the radiator. nuthin burnin/nuthin smokin/ nuthin boilin... I thought maybe I went thru the pickup Mach... So we decided it was them noise fairies and Leo followed me home: no more problems. Leo is the man of the day for his welcome help. What happened? The radiator had pressure when we got home. Bearing seized and then released? Clem |
