Default 39 P/U swaybar...

Hey all you38/39 1/2 ton guys, am putting my front end together and chassis eng. has a front swaybar kit I'm thinking of getting. The new perchbolts I'm ordering are extended for the swaybar. Would like to hear if anyone has installed their swaybar on their 38/39. Thanks

39Portlander. I've not used their kit, but I did install a 40 sway bar on my 39 coupe, by using all original FOrd parts. The sway bar is still available, along with everything except the perch bolts. I was able to get them thru the fordbarn.

I removed the stock 40 sway bar in favor of the Chassis Engineering bar. Big improvement. Much more stable cornering and less wind drift.

I installed a CE sway bar kit on my 36 Pickup with a 40 front axle and works fine.
