Default 1932 Ford Wescott Phaeton

Now $32,000...Hot Rod 32 FORD PHAETON, Wescott fiberglass body, has working cowl vent, front seat set back, stock style firewall, separate flat dash, Go to - www.wescottsauto.com for complete specs on the body - retails for over $11k plus shipping.

On new chassis, accurate jig built Hot Rod Garage frame rails, Chassis Engineering center X with pedals for clutch, Alden coilovers, triangulated 4bar on '57 Oldsmobile rear end with a new 4.10 Posi. So-Cal front cross member, multi leaf front spring, chrome Superbell tube axle, '69 Chevy van spindles and brakes with finned aluminum Olds drums. All brake drums were turned and all new internal brake parts were used. 4 bar front suspension, Vega steering box, and C.E. motor mounts.

Has a fresh 283 Chevy engine, new Edelbrock 4 bbl on a polished manifold. The '68 Chevy Muncie 4-speed trans was rebuilt and a Hurst Competition + shifter added. Uses a '57 Chevy truck iron bell housing and 11" clutch. GM pickup steering column, original Bell 13" steering wheel, original S-W gauges, and Locar e-brake are mounted below the dash.

One piece hood top, Drake grill shell with painted insert, on an original '32 Ford V-8 radiator. Original BLC headlights and LED repro '37 Ford taillights are used. The 14 gallon spun aluminum fuel tank is mounted in the back of the body [easily removed]. Rare M/T Medallion 14" mags and very rare original 16" E.T.III two piece rear wheels with Dirt Track tires . Exhaust is GM manifolds and Smitty glass pack mufflers.

Stock style firewall has been recessed, floor under front seat flattened, rear floor raised for clearance, doors have been fit. New removable front floor with trans hump. Body primed with 2 part DuPont products. Fiberglass work professionally done. Now has a dark gray GM truck cloth interior with carpet and a black tonneau cover. Has a rear seat and carpet, but not installed yet.

The new Dan Fink windshield was chromed at Royal Plating in Tucson, new tinted glass installed by Bell Glass in Phoenix.

Built as a '60's style hiboy but could run full fenders easily. You can personalize it. Needs some more work to finish - paint, tail pipes... Or not...

It is running and driving, everything works, - titled, licensed and insured.
