Default Starter bushing, brush end

Where do you fellows buy your bushings for the end plate with the brushes for a model A ford. I've had no luck with the ones from a vender. Thanks, charles

Unless it's actually worn out there is no need to replace it. Total time on a starter is very little and the rear bushing has very little load on it. That said, if I had to replace the bushing (I've only had to do a couple) I either bought it from Bert's, Bratton's, or Snyder's, and it fit fine.

I also have a very good seal and bearing store about 5 miles away where I can buy parts if I need to.

Tom and others, I bought 3 from one of the venders mentioned above and had no luck with them. Maybe need to try a different one. Thanks for the help guys.

There were two sizes available (see Service Bulletins), but the parts houses only have one.

So that's where the problem lies, Tom.
