Default station wagon muffler

Is anyone reproducing a station wagon muffler? Mine is just about rusted through and figure I better start looking.

I think the station wagon used the same muffler assembly as the passenger cars, but with a tailpipe extension. This extension can be found in Snyder's catalog, Good Luck!

Aries sells an extension for $110. It only fits their muffler but if you buy one of their mufflers at the same time, they will weld it on and supply the extra clamps, etc.

Station wagons used the original stock muffler until 1931. The problem with the original tailpipe design was that it contributed to exhaust fumes coming into the car through the side windows. The newer design had an extended tail pipe that carried the fumes to the center of the rear of the car, which improved the fume problem. I have the one made by Aries on my wagon, and it does make a big difference. But in some cases having to do with wind currents, I can still smell it. I usually keep the back curtains on for that reason.
