Could you tell me the Difference in the "B, or "A Distributor cam.

Longer dwell on the "B" cam gives hotter spark.

B has longer ramp on opening

The B cam has about 9 degrees more dwell and 4 distinct lines, while the A cam has 8 distinct lines where the rubbing block enters and leaves the lobes.

Tom, that is a great photo and explanation of the two cams. I knew the B had more dwell and was the better choice but I did not know the visual differences. Thanks for posting this.
