Default 1947 mercury 1 ton door glass replacement

I need help putting my door glass in frame as rubber beading kinks @ radius. Seems ok on straight parts . Can you cut beading to get rid of kinks ?

Yes, you make a pie shaped cut in the material on the glass surface to eliminate the bunched up material.
