Default Please identify this air cleaner

This morning at Donut Derelicts, spotted this air cleaner.

What is it from? Looks to me modified with a modern filter element.

thanks

Looks like a 37-39 with an added element under the lid.You need to resize your pic as its like a postage stamp.

I looks like the one on my '40 Ford, except for the chrome, of course. This type is also pictured in the 1940 Ford restoration book published by the Early Ford V-8 Club.
