1940 ford help or info needed on weather stripping and cats hair in window tracks
Hi guys need some help on how to install the felt or cats hair in the back windows of a 1940 ford sedan. We can't seem to get the back track out of the back windows to install new felt . Do they bolt in or do the slide up like a 1932 ford Tudor. Any help or your info would be great thank you

I think the track drops on to a little hook at the bottom of the steel channel. If the panel is off and the seat is out you can see it from the side. Fronts have a screw in the top of them on the flat of the channel. They can take some muscle to pull them out. Hope this helps.

They're a bitch to pull out sometimes but they do pull out. It's as Babar says.......slide in the new one and you'll see a stamped tab that the end slides into down at bottom on inside fender well.
