Default Big R has coolant for $6.99 gallon

Needed some today and saw it was $2 off a gallon so its $6.99. Gallon jug of green stuff concentrate, Durex brand.

I am certainly not an expert on Anti-freeze but I recently did some reading on the subject because my Town Sedan is due for a change ( It's been ~2.5 years now).

From what I found you want an inorganic coolant for your older car, not the newer "Organic Acid Technology, OAT (Extended Life anti-freeze). I also read NOT to use extended life anti-freeze if you have a copper/brass radiator. Maybe someone can shed some light on this for us?

I am using PEAK "Green" which states on the label "for all cars 1989 and earlier".

Here is a link to just one of the articles that may amswer some questions.

That's the stuff! Have this in all four older vehicles including a Model A Ford and cast iron block n' head Mercedes diesel.
