Even the more economical wagons like this 1961 Ford Country Sedan look great. Check out this beauty.

For those Ford Barners that collect model cars, Dinky Toys of England made this 1961 Ford Fairlane many years ago. While it is a two door sedan, I think that it was modelled from a four door model, judging by the length of the front doors. It would appear that the model maker simply deleted the outline of the rear door to achieve a two door of this model. Other than that, it is quite a nice model of an unusual car. It is also available as a Police Car. Dinky numbered all their Police Cars 258, so it is obvious that the wrong Box is pictured under the 61 Ford Police Car.

Herman Munster posted a picture of a rare 1961 Meteor. This is the Cover from the original sales Brochure for these cars. If you want to check out more on old Brochures, check out this great site and add it to your Favorites. This site will entertain and educate you for hours.

Manifold is a Edelbrock F-262 and carbs. are early Carter AFB 4 1/4 air horn.

Found this picture of this weathered 1961 Ford Galaxie 2 door hardtop. I like the styling of the 61 Fords. Just a pity that there are not more of them around?

The smaller of the two looks more like a 1990 model.

I agree with “Merchman from oz” that their aren’t many 61 Fords around, they are a favorite of mine too. But because they are scarce, whenever one does show up somewhere they always draw an admiring crowd. It’s always the first car I go look at.
