Default 1930 headlight bar mounting

Is there supposed to be a thin rubber gasket where the headlight bar bolts to the front fenders? Same question with the rear taillight mount. Thanks

If you want to use the pads, make sure you get a good grounded connection under the bolts and nuts.

Thanks. I am going original, everywhere I possibly can, within budget, time, and what is left of my sanity.

While not original they do make a nice finished appearance and helps to keep the paint undamaged.

Yes, I am a bit concerned about the $5,000 paint.

Some things on Model As were mounted with a thick paper "gasket".

The vendors have both types, no lip and with lip. Follow post #4 to get a good ground for the lights.
