Default Looking for a clear oil...

Would anyone know of a clear oil?

As clear as water!

No color to it.

Thanks.

I have seen clock oil that was clear . I was also told that musical instruments use a clear oil . Maybe you are looking for oil for the crankcase? Norm

I think mineral oil is clear but I don't know your intended use.

Several years ago Walmart brand of motor oil was nearly clear, and rated rather well too.

I have clear oil for my industrial sewing machine. I believe the intended use is for stainless steel components.

AeroShell Straight Mineral Oil, used as break-in oil on new or newly overhauled piston aircraft engines.

As Tacoma Bob mentioned, sewing machine oil is the clearest mineral oil I've used. The old 2380 Turbo oil that is an ester based synthetic used to be clear but I think it has more of an amber tint now days.
