Floor pans question
I called Bradley's Floor Pans to order pans for my 49. two weeks ago. The lady took my request, name and phone number and advised me Paul would call me. Is this the normal procedure or do I have to keep calling?

Re: Floor pans question
My experience is you will have to call numerous times and then may or may not happen! My reference is 33-34 so maybe he is more active in other years.
What you describe is the spiel. Good luck! |

Re: Floor pans question
He will call and take your cc # and promise to ship the next day.
I'm still waiting and in Septemer it will be 1 year. You will better off to make some out of cardboard and pocket your money. He is a number one con artist among other things. Charles |

Re: Floor pans question
Paul Bradley is a real nice guy. His 1936 Ford pans are a work of art. I waited 3 years for mine. If you can wait, they are worth waiting for. If you are in a rush or impatient you would be better off looking elsewhere. As per my experience, he will EVENTUALLY get them to you. I called him about every 6 months plus saw him at Hershey.

Re: Floor pans question
Warren,
I purchased right side from Paul Bradley. He did not have the left side, but promised two weeks. I waited then bought the drivers side from Dennis Carpenter in Concord NC. It was of very good quality, as good as Paul's. I think Dennis's was 10.00 more. The whole job came out better than I expected. Kingskid. |

Re: Floor pans question
Dennis Carpenter no longer sells [any] sheet metal. If he was having as much trouble with orders as everyone on the Barn, I can understand his dropping them from their lineup.I had planned to order the pans from him. Got a 2013 catalogue from him in May and they were not listed. They were listed in the 2012. Called him in June and was told they were not handling any sheet metal now. That's why I called Bradleys.
Looks to be a lost cause. As for waiting two or three years ,I'm 82 now and I don't know if that would be a good idea. Warren Last edited by warren va; 07-29-2013 at 11:18 PM. |

Re: Floor pans question
I waited three years until he finally said he was making more and then charged my credit card. I waiting another year after charging my card before I asked for my money back. It took months of asking until I told his secretary I was filing a police report for theft before he called me back and agreed to refund the charges....which took another month.
His pans may be good, but I wouldn't part with the cash unless you had a set loaded in your truck first. |

Re: Floor pans question
I think it's Waddingtons. Check other posts here as this issue has been raised before. A member from OZ posted photos of the floors, all one piece and very well made.
