So it was a beautiful day in the deep south in the mid sixties and sunny most of the day after several days of rain so I went out to the shop and tried out a few things; some Barn'ers were nice enough to send me private messages w/tips and I tried some of those as well as moved the coil, plus went back to the old coil and condenser but mounted them to the body of the car, the MINUTE I hit the key she fired right up and instantly I knew the issue was SOLVED!!
She will rev up fine now and is back to running like her old self, guessing a bad ground to the condenser maybe? I still have some grooming to do and consider if I am going to leave the coil there or move it some place else but she is running so I am happy!

I want to THANK each and every one of you for taking your time to help me with this, I am embarrassed to say how much $ I thru at this issue and in the end it was such a simple thing! But now I have all good components so she should run fine for a while now.

After you view the video above if you have any comments or suggestions on coil or condenser placement I would be interested in hearing, thanks. Or, any other tips too.

Todd,

Just curious; have you tried the condenser I sold you?
