Default Engine Rebuild: In NY

I'm thrilled to announce that the engine rebuilt by J&M Machine is back at my place in NY. Thank you to everyone who has been emailing me to ask how the process was going. It took me forever and a week to pick it up (they had it ready a while back but I haven't had time to go get it). I'll post more about it at a later time. It currently is resting comfortably in a stand in my garage. Lots of video and photos of the rebuild will be included. I'll also have a link to some video on the transmission rebuild and some welding and a bunch of other stuff. Now I just need to figure out which three or four $2 parts are missing and will delay the reassembly.

As of this evening, my "next steps" are to strip and paint the motor mounts and prepare the front cross member (which I partially stripped to check for cracks) for primer and paint.

Thanks to all again for their help so far.

That's great news, Seth.
We look forward to hearing more, and seeing more (videos?) about your J&M engine rebuild, the re-installation, and how the engine is performing in your car.
We are eager for updates!
