My "story" was amazing.
Buster T. held the Fort, for 28 DAYS, while James topped his water & food. He's very proficient to use his Doggy
door & slept on his King Bed, while he did his WATCHDOG DUTIES!!!
Learning words, sentences, etc. I've had 2 strokes & the first totally disappeared, after 2 years.

Wishing you the best Bill...I had one of those a few years ago. Stay positive, go for walks every day, get your rest and eat well. Glad to see you back. Most things come back, its a process of other parts of the brain taking over what the affected part did. Some things come back quicker than others...Keep your chin up!

If laughter is the best medicine, why do people die laughing?
Glad to see you back.

Welcome Back, Bill! I had mine in 2007 and I'm still feeling it. Memory and speech were affected. Sometimes I just can't get a word out. And it doesn't even come hours later. It's just gone! I didn't know what was happening to me for four days, then my daughter, who has a BSN talked to me and said it was a stroke and to go to the hospital. Postings on Fordbarn, etc take way longer than they should because of all the corrections that have to be made. All I can say is Best of luck!

It's WEIRD, that I had a stroke, kinda' SCAREY. BUT, I'm doing better after
2 weeks at the hospital & 2 weeks at the re-hab. Been home for awhile & doing well. "Humor" is scarce, but it'll come back!
Bill

So Wednesday I go under the knife to help prevent some of these things Bill. You inspire me to do well. Just got back from a 1700+ mile drive, much of it at night and no bad things happened so maybe this tune=up will have me out and about more. You hang in there and come spring I may just trot down to say hello.

My wife doesn't read the Forum but when I told her you were back, she wondered why I had stopped mentioning you to her for the last month or so. She laughs whenever I say to her, "listen to what the Assistant Guru of Stuff" is saying today. She thinks that is the greatest "handle" ever and I agree. Glad to see you back.
