Coil repair?
I have an gennie coil on my '31 that has started to fail. Does anyone take these apart and repair them?

Re: Coil repair?
There are some modern epoxy coils that could be turned down some and stuffed inside the original coil can.
Unsolder the top of the can and you will find it would not be hard to do. I have not done this- yet- But I have xrayed a coil to confirm the possibility. |
