Adding Pictures For Morons 101. Instructions please. Would like one when I post.

The easiest one I use is tinypics... Resize for message boards , copy and paste in yer text. A done deal... does AVIs as well! ws

I know it's me but no luck so far. I go to the add an album page hit copy but it won't come over. Paste doesn't light up. I know about making the picture smaller from that "other site". Like to post a pic in my profile and one that will come up when I post.

I left click "Browse", then that will take you to your pics, however your OS is set up, with mine its various folders. Scroll through the folders until you find the one you want. Double left click that one to open. Find the pic you want, left click on that once and then bottom right corner, left click "open".
That should close the folder page and show the pic on the tinypics page. Left click "upload". Pic should appear to the right. Above the pic is a drop down choosing size. Drop open that to either avatar or message board. Left click desired size. Look on left side of page for the corresponding size like message board or avatar, and right click to highlight the box and show "copy". Go to the forum page below your text and right click "paste". You should get an HTML code like this (kinda)in the text.

{IMG}tinypics 12345.jpg{IMG}

which will appear as the photo NOT HTML code when when you click "submit"

I would copy this down on a piece of paper and then try to follow it. Takes a little practice. Other guys use "Photobucket sharing" which I think blows, but thats me... ws

DUMMY ME !!! Its all free, but I forgot to ad that you need to register. That will hold like 100 pics in THEIR memory. Without registering, I think theres no memory and the uploading is a little different. Ive been using it for 4 years now and forgot about the signing up biz! Sorry!! ws
