Chanson car heater information
I have a heater in my 1936 Ford that has a label identifying it as a Chanson Car Heater built by Illinois Iron and Bolt company. It has 3 doors on it oriented vertically. Does anyone have any more information on these heaters? Were there any stock heaters on 36 pickups? Were the Chanson heater commonly installed by dealers or owners? When were they produced? Any additional information would be appreciated. Thanks
My pictures appear to be too big to be acceptable for inclusion here?? |

Re: Chanson car heater information
Ford sold hot air manifold heaters
Pep boys, Montgomery wards, sears etc all sold heaters, most all were dealer or after car purchases installed |
