If I search for "32 pedal return spring," I wind up getting anything with "32", anything with "pedal", etc. Is there a way to only get results with all four of the terms asked? I had a friend who was a whiz at all this stuff but he's gone.

Best way I have found is a google search such as; fordbarn.com; 1932 pedal return spring (or just 32)
First one I found; https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1545517
Using "fordbarn.com" narrows the search down to fordbarn but still does not eliminate everything. You could try putting what you are looking for in ", such as "1932 pedal return spring"

Aha! I found the answer to my question. Simply putting the "+" symbol between the words gives me what I want, such as "pedal+return+spring".
