Instrument Panel Correct Finish
I'm just starting to get the plated parts redone. I've checked the Judging standards and can't clarify the correct finish for the instrument panel for a Oct. 1928 Sport Coupe. It appears to be "Bright Nickel" or is it Butler finish?
I'd rather make it right the first time. What's your thoughts? John Poole |

Re: Instrument Panel Correct Finish
According to the standards, Butler nickel was until June 1930 when they were changed to bright nickel. In Sept 1930 butler nickel was specified for 50% of production. Also beginning August 1929 the Town Car (not the Town Sedan) used butler chrome.
