Default Any problem with draining radiator

Can I drain the radiator for the winter? Motor won't start and can't mix antifreeze.

drain out the water and refill with either premixed 50/50 or full strength and mix it yourself. the block will fill up without starting. if you have a stat without bleed holes i would remove it so the coolant can fill the upper neck. IMO this would be better than leaving the block dry as the gaskets and seals pertaining to the cooling system can dry out and will also help surface rust from forming inside the engine from condensation and residual wetness .

the return tube, in my experience, if steel, will corrode with straight water.
