1947 Mercury Convertible door locks
Does anybody know where to buy 1947 Ford/Mercury Convertible door
locks? Bob Drake offers locks with keys, but do not mention if they are long enough for convertibles. I have one set that is 1/4 too short to work in our convert. Appreciate any input. Thanks, Bob, Hampshire, Illinois |

Send me a PM with the actual length you need from the back of the escutcheon to the tip of the shaft and I'll compare to the ones (all OEM and some NOS) I have in inventory.

Thanks for your response.
Yesterday I spoke with a tech guy at Bob Drake who told me that their shaft length was 3 3/4" which would work out for me. I wish I went back on line to get your message. Thanks for your response. Bob-Hampshire, Ill. |

On another note, Bob, I still need to make the trek over your way some weekend to see your car and swap '47 Merc notes.
