I have a 1953 f100 with a 6 cylinder engine . Has been starting in garage last few times no troubles let it run for awhile
today started it went 200 yds down street and just died.
Then would crank but not fire at all had to push back home. Any suggestions

It's one of two things; no fuel or no spark or maybe both. You aren't out of gas are you?

My first guess would be the fuel system is clogged up from sitting so long.

Back in the 60's this is about all the "mechanican" we knew and it helped narrow the problem down. We were usually out of gas, but this looked much cooler than admitting that.
Seeing as how you have fuel...
1. Have someone crank it over while holding a spark plug wire near a head bolt. Do you get any spark?
2. Look down carb throat, hand pump throttle. Is gas squirting?
3. Remove fuel line from carb and place end in container, pull coil wire from distributor, be careful not to have the end of the wire near the fuel line. Crank engine, is fuel pumped into container?

Having plenty of gas in the tank does not mean the gas is getting to the carb. Junk floating around in the tank can plug up the pickup line.

What should be replaced if apparently no spark

I would check the points first.
Then condenser and here is Bubbas site for info on testing your coil.

If you have extra coil and condenser laying around you could just swap them out. I always hate to get caught in the "replace this, then replace that".trap.
That's how most of us acquired what we refer to as "extra parts".

I had a car once that I stored for several years. When I went to get it out, it would turn over fine, but wouldn't start. Removing the points, cleaning them, and reinstalling and re-gapping them got me going. Not quite the same situation, because you got yours started, but it shows that they can go bad just sitting around.

First check to make sure you fire from the ignition switch to the coil. If you have a ballast resistor between the switch and the coil you need to check there also. A bad ballast resistor will also cause the problem once it heats up.
