Default Hot air heaters

Did Ford offer a hot air heater on cars and trucks after 1940,and if so for how many year models?

I think 46 was the last year the Hot Air heater was offered.

This was available for 1940 as well as a hot water heater. Wondering how much longer in production and configuration on other years there were.

There was a hot air heater option on 46-48 cars, they "came on" quickly, the exhaust heat exchanger was "UL" listed , I have a nos one for 6 cyl

I had one in my 47 coupe. It was most definitely factory installed.

I have the part that goes against the rad there is not a part # for it in the diagram it has also the hanging brackets 18558 .If some one could use it give a connect Johnny
