We are all here at the hotel admiring each others cars and waiting for Vic to show up . I hope he is not on the side of the road somewhere either out of gas or having vapor lock issues

We all had a blast today on the Garage Tours, first I met everyone at the host hotel and we drove back to my place and up to my friend Milt's house to check out his collection of T's, etc. After that we drove back to my place and we dined on PIZZA of all things. With lunch finished, we drove up to Art's (another friend) house to check out his collection of Flathead speed equipment and some outstanding cars and trucks. My '39 CS started acting up and we replaced the fuel pump but still had some issues, on the drive back to my place the circuit breaker toasted itself and, to make matters worse... the '39 lost the right side fender skirt on the highway... It did not fair well however... now I have a good reason to paint and mount the original set of '39 Ford "Bubble" skirts, I got form "Big Daddy" Don Garlits, on the car. Here are a few random photos from today's adventures.

I think that's enough for now... Tomorrow I'll post what we did at Art's, etc. as well as all the action at the Fantasy of Flight and the BBQ hosted by Tom Roach. Now it's my bed time...

LOL... Chuck, in all fairness, I can't be sure the pump we swapped out was one of Ken's, in fact, I would doubt it, as I haven't bought a fuel pump, or anything else from him in a number of years. The good thing is, the "new" pump (not from Ken) I had in the trunk, solved the fuel starvation problem, but couldn't help the circuit breaker melt down... Ah... the joy of Flatheads... The '39 did get us home so now I've got something else to play with/fix next week...

Here are a few more photos from Friday at Art's and yesterday at the Fantasy of Flight and Tom Roche's Shop and the BBQ he had for the group.

After taking in Art's beautiful collection of vehicles and Flathead Speed Equipment, etc., we finished off the day with (what else) BBQ at a local eatery.

Fantasy of Flight

This museum was simply outstanding, I would recommend it and, I'll be going back.

This sign was in the Ford Tri-Motor...

And this is the interior of the Tri-Motor.

I've got to get things ready for todays BBQ so I'll post more later. Hope you are enjoying the photos.

Here are a few photos of the BBQ and Shop tour provided by Tom Roche. Tom did an outstanding job and I want to say thanks again for playing host to all of us. Here's a photo of Tom talking with a few of the group.

And a sampling of some of the cars/trucks in his shop.

Here we are enjoying the BBQ'

Tom even had a cake for us.

I'll post more of what we were treated to at Tom's after the BBQ today.
