Default Location of members?

Is there an easy way to see where everyone is from here on the Barn, i.e., Country, state, etc.? Might be helpful for meeting each other during travel or assistance with breakdowns. Sorry if this has already been discussed at some point.

thanks.

Only if they inter it in their profile. Yours only list Colorado, better than nothing, but not much!

Cool idea. Maybe a summary would be nice but I would rather not have too much personal (contact) information out there for the hackers to steal. Can't speak for the others.

Since most of us use a handle instead of our name I don't think the V8 Club Roster would be much help. I am in it ---but under my real name.
Best if the profile is filled out like Jseery said with the complete location. You can PM anyone you would like to communicate with and if they have that feature turned on, they will get your message.

Petehoovie might not even be in this country!

When anyone on this forum needed assistance they posted their needs and information relevant to their needs. At that time you will know if you are close to them.

Petehoovie and 34PKUP where are you guys located anyway?? If you are on some type of whitness protection program or mayby wanted by the CIA I can fully understand why you don't want us "Evil Barners" knowing approximately where you might be located

Don't think anyone was suggesting street address being posted online. But country, state and even city are helpful. Don't think that gives away to much info unless you live in a very small town!

What's funny/sad is that probably the same guys who are paranoid about listing a general location have wives and children who let it all hang out on Facebook.

I always carry the V-8 club roster when ever I take a trip. It's the handiest thing you can have in your car(besides your AAA card). I even carry an older roster in my modern car. If you need assistance you can call a V-8er. You may get a Fordbarner or you may not, but you do get HELP.

OMG...they never responded. Maybe they are really concerned about folks knowing approximately where they are located. Unreal!!

Maybe it's like hunting, when I go hunting and bring back a real nice trophy Moose, everyone says " man where did you get that?" I just smile and say " In the woods"

Ralph, exactly where did you get your last Trophy Moose?? What are the geographical coordinates of that location?? LOLOL I do a lot of hunting, and just recently returned from our annual Deer hunt with the boys in Western MD, but have never been Moose hunting. You could send me a pm on the location and I promise not to tell any of the other members here, especially Pete and 34PKUP
