What size dia, are the bumper end bolts 30 coupe.

The bumper end bolts are a special type. They have a webbing kind of thing under the head to keep the bolt from turning when the nut is tightened. I believe all model A's used the same bolts. The heads are painted gloss black I believe. All model A parts supplier carry them,

The bolts I have are from Brattons, Diameter wise 3/8 ? Seems like a loose fit in the bumper ends. Thanks for the reply. Are they supposed to be loose?

The special carrage type bumper end bolts are 7/16 diameter

They are 7/16 and they are loose until tightened.

In the Ford parts book --28-37, printed july 1945 the nut is listed as 33927-s7, 7/16 x 20, 1/4 thick, 5/8 across flats

The bolts are 7/16, fine thread
