Default RTS-170 Transmission Conversion

I am considering the RTS-170 3-speed plus overdrive transmission conversion from a Ford pickup to make my Model A more compatible with today's traffic speeds. I don't have machining equipment to accomplish all of the re-splining etc. needed and would like to talk with someone who might offer either components or a complete kit. I thought I had read about someone who was offering them as a kit but after searching I have been unable to find who it was, where they're from, or any idea of what pricing is like.

I had a long conversation one evening several months ago with a gentleman (name escapes me now) who used to offer the parts for the conversion but he now longer offers his kit or components. Does anyone know who might still be doing it?

Thanks

Lynn

Ah Ha!....Ken Parker is who I believe I talked to at length on the phone (super friendly and knowledgable!), but I seem to recall from the conversation he's no longer doing them.

Do some research before you choose that transmission.
You may not like the ratios.
