Vintique Inc fuel neck rubber grommet
Some prior owner painted my original, so I decided to replace it.
This Vintique item is a joke, so if you're thinking of "upgrading," this part isn't the go to. (lips are inadequate to hold it in place, size is questionable and shape ain't much better..... a total fail basically) I ended up removing the paint from the original factory piece and re-installing it. (3rd photo) Definitely sending this "solution" back to the vendor it came from. |

Re: Vintique Inc fuel neck rubber grommet
The 34 fuel neck rubber that I received from Mac's a few years wasn't much better as it split into as I tried to install it. Probably same mfg. Had no choice but to use it split.

I bet you could make a new seal using that liquid Flex Seal Rubler you see on TV.
Use the old seal to make a plaster of paris mold or a liquid resin mold. |

Has Vintique ever offered a decent product? I mean one with their name on it?
