Default Roy Shepherd Auction

This Saturday in West Townsend Ma. Anyone going? Bought some 39 Ford sheetmetal three or so years ago at Fitchburg and Amherst. Got a real nice probably NOS truck front fender. Roy said he had the mate somewhere in one of the dozen or so storage trailers/boxes behind the barn in the woods. Never did locate it. stopped one Sunday PM and he showed me around. quite a collection. Anyone know for sure if there is Ford stuff?? 2 Hr drive for me.

Web site is Petrowsky Auctions. lots of pictures, interesting stuff.

Thanks ML

How are they going to get through all that "stuff" in one day.

The thing that bugs me about those auctions, are the auctioneers, they lump unrelated stuff together, like a bunch of hoods from 1930 to 1970. So you have to buy 6 or 7 hoods to get the one you want. I know that's likely how they will get through it all in one day. But it's clear they really don't know what they have...

Man I wish I knew about the auction sooner. Some pretty cool stuff in there. White64 is right though, you've gotta buy the cow and the milk most of the time.

I live about twenty miles from this place and reading about it here was the first I'd heard of it. Very poorly advertised.

Last month this auctioneer had an auction of over 30 collector cars.
That was 10 miles from me and I saw no ads. He does not do enough for his consigners.

At some of the auctions I have been to you would be lucky with 6 or 7 items lumped together, they had like a row of maybe 50 to 100 items lumped as one bid. Like axles, maybe 50 some axles all as one lot.
