Why do you suppose the T-birds have what looks like duct tape under the edge of the roof?....Mark

On the OLD MOTOR it says the truck was built "in house".....Mark

The cab on the truck hauling the T-Birds looks like a '48-'52 Ford truck cab.

I would say 49 Ford is right. I do not know what they called it , but i would say it was made by Ford.

Yes I relooked at that. The front looks custom built with those little windows put in. A conventional cab converted to a cabover

It may not be tape. The soft tops had a chrome strip at the front. That is the only one I could see that had something there.
