can we sa y the 46 bar will not fit a '40?

Yes, I think we can say that. They aren't even close. Here's the 46 version.

Thanks muchly. I have both and will bring the 46 to Hershey. If I read correctly I need a different spindle set. I have the band most of the other parts.
