1930 AA Stake bed has new side board wood
We purchased our AA stake bed in 1970 and during all of these years we have used it on our farm for hauling hay. Since we sold our cattle about 5 years ago, it has had nothing to do, it has looked so forelorn. I refurbished its sideboards and they now look great again. I just wanted to show and tell here. The stake bed has FORD script embossed across its back framing.

Re: 1930 AA Stake bed has new side board wood
The solid metal roof came from a 1931 AA truck. The old soft top was ruined when we purchase the truck in 1970. The truck is a late 1930 with the round speedometer face. The fuel shut off is under the fuel tank rather than located on the firewall. We purchased the metal top and the stake bed from a Snohomish wrecking yard and they both really made the truck usable for us. The AA motors along comfortably at 40 MPH. Attached is a view of the interior.
