Default Need 6.00 X 17 inner tubes

I just got 2 new tires from Coker for my 1941 truck but they didn't have tubes to fit and told me they didn't know where I could get them. I have put up a post on the swap meet but I thought I would ask for ideas here to. Any help is appreciated. I need (2) 6.00x 17 inner tubes. They have a center metal stem with a 90 degree bend. Thanks.

Try Summit, they have tubes that might work. A 6.00X16 tube would work also.

Last time I needed tubes the wheel shop got them from a local tractor supply. Same day, $15-20.

700-16s

If that's a tonner with 17" lock ring wheels, it's very hard to get them on with a 16" tube. You need 17" flaps as well if you don't already have them. ME Miller tire in Ohio has them and I just got a few more from a tire place who lists on ebay. I can look that info up after work if you want. A 7.00 or 7.50 x 17 is the norm for the tonners though.

I have five rubber stemmed 17" tubes. They're out of a '33. (I replaced them with metal valve stemmed tubes). All in perfect shape. Name your price plus shipping an they're yours.

I talked to them last week about ordering a 17 inch tube for one of my Excelsior Radials. They had them then.

Thank you all for the suggestions. My tonner has 6.00x17 tires on the front and 7.00x17 tires on the back. They have been on there for 55 years and I assume my Dad knew what he was doing by having two different sizes. He used the truck for farming. The wheels are two piece with the locking ring. I have bias ply tires and I have the tube liners.

I need the 6.00x17 inner tubes for my new tires from Coker. My local tire shop said call Coker for tubes, which I had already done. Miller tire had nothing. Summit racing is sending me tubes they say will fit at $30 each. After I get them I will post again to let you know if they really work.

Thanks again for you help.

Very common in those days to have larger tires in the rear. The 7.50s became common in the later years and have been more available in my lifetime. Any pictures of your truck? Some of us love the tonners best!
