Default When did manufacture of repro luggage rack

Anybody been in the Model A hobby long enough to know when a reproduced luggage rack was made? Early fifties? or sixties? The reason I am asking is because of the one on my '31 roadster that was supposedly an amateur restoration in the late fifties early sixties. The luggage rack looks like your typical repro today I suppose although it seems a bit heavier weight and gauge of the metal but has wooden slats on it. It is painted black but you can tell it was painted over a somewhat pitted metal like it was old before the car was restored. Must be an early reproduction or an aftermarket for it,or one that someone added the wood slats.

Luggage Racks in various styles and designs have been around as long as the Model-A has. Places like Montgomery Wards, Western Auto, Sears Roebuck, et/al all marketed luggage racks. Without seeing it, it could be either as you suggested.
