Default Mystery Fuel Valve?

So I found this shutoff valve in a box of parts I acquired and consulted the judging standards for the year. But according to my older copy, it doesn't match any of the drawings. It looks like some but the line going out is not visible when I orientate my valve to match the picture. So it got me thinking, is this a right hand drive one if they were different? Or am I missing something?

Bob
That's what I thought, but it looks to be reversed according to a pic in the JS.

Not sure what you mean by reversed. The line going out is at the top of your first and last picture.

If you turn your handle a 1/4 turn CCW isn't it the same?

You're right Bob - now I feel stupid. I guess as we get older we tend to miss the obvious!

RHD/LHD. The valves are the same. The tank outlet and the position of the carburettor, hence the fuel line are the same.
