Default Dry Lakes Racing

My dad and uncle grew up in Southern California and raced at the dry lakes in the late 30's. My uncle also had one of the first 8mm cameras out there. Several years ago my son and I edited out all the "family-on-the-front-porch-waving" footage and left just the hot rods. I've since learned this is some of the only moving film of dry lakes racing shot before the war. Many of you guys have probably watched this on YouTube, but if you haven't, here's a good way to kill time when you're sitting inside. There are some landmark cars here...
