rear axle tube wheel bearing race
What would be the minimum dimension for the rear axle race?

Anything over .002 out of round. The race will wear more on the bottom since that is where the pressure is.

I would think no more than .005 out of round.Years ago I a pair of hsgs that that were about .060 out of round & rear end was still quiet,but seals wouldnt last very long.

Excess wear on the axle housing bearing races will cause problems with the rear brakes
