Model A vs V8 light switch covers
I have several model A and V8 light switches and covers. The main part of the switch and plastic wiring part look the same for both switches. The only difference I can see between the two switches is the flat area on the V8 covers - see V8 cover on the right side of the picture below. Does anyone know if the light switch for an early V8 is the same as for a model A (later style switch, not the early 1928 switches) and if just changing the lower cover is all that it necessary to convert a V8 switch to a model A switch?

32-37 are the same. 38-39 are not due to the start of dimmer switches for the headlights.

Re: Model A vs V8 light switch covers
Are model A and 32-37 switches identical except for the cover?

Cannot speak to identical but they are interchangeable.
