12secvx Member Join Date: Nov 2015 Posts: 91	Late 31 oil pump shield? I have read every thead known and the same question gets asked. Can 1/8” be trimmed off the bottom of a oil pump shield to fit in a older pan? But it never get answered or does it just not make sense to do so because there will be not added benifit? I understand the pans had lowered dipper trays that the shield came with. Thanks Ben
