Window crank and riser
I have a question about which is the best way to install the 1/8" pin in the model A window cranks. When I try and install the pin I need to install the riser first then the crank handle all while pushing against the spring that is on the crank shaft behind the door panel. Should the pin go in place behind the riser or in front of it. I don't seem to have enough clearance to the pin to line up with the hole in the body of the crank handle.

The pin is installed on the outer side of the escutcheon (riser?). MAC's sells a tool that helps altho a little on the expensive side for one job. https://www.macsautoparts.com/ford_m...oval-tool.html |
